ZION MGMT is seeking a motivated and proactive Leasing Agent to join our team in New York. The successful candidate will play a vital role in attracting and retaining residents by effectively marketing properties and managing the leasing process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively market available properties through online listings, open houses, and community events.
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents, highlighting the unique features and benefits of each property.
- Assist prospective residents in completing rental applications and provide guidance throughout the leasing process.
- Maintain accurate records of resident communications, applications, and leases.
- Screen applicants by conducting background and credit checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate lease signings and ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly to foster positive resident relationships.
- Collaborate with property management to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitive properties to effectively position ZION MGMT's offerings.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the organization.
Background Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in leasing, sales, or a customer service role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations is a plus.
